Queen Latifah

Dana Elaine Owens better known by her stage name Queen Latifah, is an American musician, actress, and rapper. Queen Latifah's career in the fields of music, film and television has resulted in her receiving an Golden Globe award two Screen Actors Guild Awards two Image Awards a Grammy Award and six more Grammy nominations, an Emmy Award nomination and an Academy Award nomination. Queen Latifah is the daughter of Newark New Jersey native. Her parents were Lancelot Sr. who was a policeman, as well as Rita, a educator at Irvington High School.
