Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. The first successes of her acting career were in films like Pleasantville and Election however, her performance in the film Elle Woods was the turning point for her. Witherspoon was honored with an Academy Award, in 2005 in her role as Walk the Line. Recent films include Water for Elephants This Means War and Wild in which she was awarded yet another Oscar nomination. Witherspoon was also an accomplished TV producer as well as the star of David E. Kelley's award-winning TV show Big Little Lies. Witherspoon born Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon at New Orleans Louisiana, March 22nd 26th, 1976. The parents of Witherspoon are a medical doctor and an registered nurse. She grew in Nashville, Tennessee as the debutante of her school as well as Harpeth Hall. Witherspoon was a debutante in the city of Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 and answered the request for extras in her local newspaper. Her career began in the early 2000s appearing in a number of small-sized television shows. in 2003 The Invisible Man was her first film. From there she was able to appear in a number of TV shows, including House of Lies Whitney and Better Call Saul. Also, she was in the films The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is an excellent painter and artist in addition to being a successful actress.
